This is what was missing at the end of Big Bang. The Doctor & River, outside the TARDIS, having a slow dance together, with him getting more comfortable with her. Enough for them to have a gentle kiss before the “You’ll find out very soon now, and…
Of cause, there’s the other ‘dancing’ too. A cut from them kissing to them snuggled up in bed together (obviously looking like they’re naked under the sheets) would of been quiet nice also
I really want to see both kinds of dancing, because Alex and Matt would knock it out of the park. Even just a shot of them under the covers would blow my mind. (Or even if it was just obviously implied, like Amy and Rory in the honeymoon suite in “A Christmas Carol.”) They just need to dance. And dance. That’s all there is to it.
River Song as fulltime companion for Series 7. I would hyperventilate and die.
I keeping thinking that she’s got to become a full time companion at some point, since it’s so heavily implied that she knows at least three Doctors. (“It’s so strange when you go all Baby Face.”) I don’t want her to be restricted to two-parters forever!

*shakes fist at The Moff*
Ugh, yes! Why didn’t this happen?! She even mentions him “dancing” (at weddings). And I’m still convinced that The Doctor purposely did the drunken giraffe instead of the slow dance moves he did in “The Doctor Dances” because he didn’t want Amy trying to snag him on the dance floor. (He wanted to save his smexy moves for his beloved, River.)
Now, I just really hope that her “Spoilers!” indicates they’ll get to share a super romantic “dance” at their own wedding. (And if they happen to go wedding crashing just to show off on the dance floor, I’m not opposed to that either.)
River Song may have scared a Dalek, but Rose Tyler humanized one, and then absorbed the Time Vortex and destroyed their entire race.
Yeah, no. Anyone who’s hand landed on it would’ve done that, it doesn’t make her special. And the fact that River Song scared this creature into begging for mercy with just her name is far more terrifying than having to absorb the time vortex to get the job done because she couldn’t do it herself.
I find this to be odd, and maybe even a bit inconsiderate. Perhaps this could be used a plot device?
How is it inconsiderate? Or odd? In showbiz sets get reused, torn down, and remade all the time as do locations. (In both the same shows and in other shows that shoot in the same lot/same location.) They have to, otherwise they’d run out of money making brand new sets and traveling everywhere just to have a brand new location all the time.
