I'm an English Writing and Women's Studies dual major. I'm a feminist, a Whovian, and a writer.

I LOVE River Song and I LOATHE Rose Tyler. Also, I don't like Regina Mills and the fact that she systematically raped Graham, but the writers make light of it because she's "hot." These things will be blatantly clear on my Tumblr. If you can't handle that, it would be best not to follow me in the first place. I do not hold back about the things I love and hate.

Also, important note: I am NOT a spoiler free blog!

It is what it is and if you decide to follow me anyway, welcome! <3

I was re-watching “Let’s Kill Hitler” with my sister the other day, and this scene came up.  And suddenly a thought struck me: how did the TARDIS teach River how to fly her?
Up to this point, I had assumed some sort of psychic/telepathic connection, with an Idris-like flair to it.  But then this thought occurred…
What if it was Amelia Pond?
What if “she” was the little Amelia Pond verbal-interface hologram that the Doctor had been talking to earlier?  What if she was the one who taught River how to save her parents’ lives?
I held that image of River learning a new skill at her mother’s side, timey-wimey as it may be, and realized that she had never been in that position before.  She had never really learned anything from her mother, not that way.
And then I shed a single tear for River’s lost childhood.
