I have dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Writing and Women's Studies. I'm a feminist, a Whovian, and a writer.

I LOVE River Song and I LOATHE Rose Tyler. Also, I don't like Regina Mills and the fact that she systematically raped Graham, but the writers make light of it because she's "hot." These things will be blatantly clear on my Tumblr. If you can't handle that, it would be best not to follow me in the first place. I do not hold back about the things I love and hate.

Also, important note: I am NOT a spoiler free blog!

It is what it is and if you decide to follow me anyway, welcome! <3

You know, after the post-AGMGTW minisode came out, I remember someone saying how they were surprised that Vastra would be the one to like Victorian dresses.
So I thought about it and thought about it and thought about it and then realized: well, of course she’s the one to like Victorian dresses! She’s a Silurian. She only woke up in Victoriana England, but Victorian culture isn’t her traditional culture, whereas it is Jenny’s.
Think about it: a lot of modern day women (myself included) love dressing up in that gorgeous Victorian dress porn. But, if we had grown up being forced to be covered neck to toes in Victorian dresses, strutting our stuff in corsets and bustles every day and not just for Halloween/cosplay/costume parties/Renaissance Faires, we might feel very different about Victorian garb. So I think Vastra is like us: she grew up with a different cultural view, so she, not Jenny (who’d rather rip hers off and kick ass), is the one who takes great pleasure in them.
