I LOVE River Song and I LOATHE Rose Tyler. Also, I don't like Regina Mills and the fact that she systematically raped Graham, but the writers make light of it because she's "hot." These things will be blatantly clear on my Tumblr. If you can't handle that, it would be best not to follow me in the first place. I do not hold back about the things I love and hate.

River spun around with a wicked smirk on her lips. “And what sort of time do you call this?”
Clara’s brows knit together and she could feel the TARDIS vibrating beneath her touch. “You’re enjoying this,” she whispered. “You – you like her!”
“Of course she likes River!” The Doctor singsonged. “She’s the Child of the TARDIS. And River Song. And my wife!”

Clara let her head fall back as far as it could because the ceiling seemed to go up forever. “It’s like Hogwarts.” Somehow there was a strange déjà vu about the place, but she knew The Doctor had never taken her into the bowels of the ship before. “It must have every book ever written!” she breathed.
The skin around The Doctor’s eyes puckered, but Clara was too busy gawking to notice. “Not every book,” he mumbled. “Not…” He shook his head.
“Not what?”
The Doctor slung his arm around Clara’s shoulders, his smile back in place as though it had been crazy glued there. “Bet you can’t guess the best-selling novelist of all time!” he grinned.
“Sexy knows where to go, don’t you, Dear?”
“Sexy?” Clara deadpanned.
“Sexy!” The Doctor chirped. “That’s her name, isn’t it, Old Girl?” He caressed the time rotor and the brakes groaned.
“So, Sexy and a wife?” Clara continued, the toes of her shoes stabbing the backs of The Doctor’s boots as she followed so closely behind him.
This last vignette, “Running To You,” turned out way better than I thought!

“Hello, Sweetie.”
Ice. That was what he stood on: a river of black ice. He knew that if he moved he’d slip right into her embrace, his resolve would crack and give way, and he would be consumed so completely that he’d never be able to find his way out again.
River curled her right hand around the curve of his cheek while using the other to tinker with his bowtie. She rose on her tiptoes, her red lips taking on the shape of a smoke ring. “You seem so tense. Relax, Sweetie.” Her hand caressed his chest, hovering over one heart and then the next. Soon it drifted beneath the flap of his coat and began to push the fabric off his shoulder.
The touches of her fingers burned like the raw kiss of dry ice, but the more painful, the more The Doctor craved it. For everything he’d done to River Song—Melody Pond—and her parents and every companion he’d ever had, he deserved it. He felt like a doll as she guided his arms out of his jacket and shrugged it to the ground in a half-halo around them.

“I sacrificed myself to save you and every soul in The Library. Today – today – today,” she said, her voice glitching as her file flickered in and out, “a part of me – me – me almost spelt the end for so many innocent lives – lives that you love. I – I – I can’t continue to exist as a threat. I refuse to! I am done being used for the bidding of others.” Holographic tears flickered down her cheeks. “Husband, I have a request: I’m dying and it’s not your fault, but I can’t bear it another day. Please…help me. There isn’t another way.”
He came to sit beside Adrian on the couch with his bowl of Lucky Charms. “It’s New Year’s Eve, what do you want to do?”
“What do people usually do on New Year’s Eve?”
“Drink and kiss?”
“Well, I don’t drink.”
Ben swirled the cereal around his milk and proceeded to set the bowl on the coffee table. He looked at his girlfriend. “So, that leaves only one option. Maybe two. But you haven’t really been in the mood lately.”
“I know.” Adrian nibbled on her cherry Pop-Tart. She smiled unenthusiastically.
“Ever since we had that snafu with the electric bill.”
“It was a bit more than a snafu, Ben.”
“Okay, but you’re a forgiving person.”
“Do you know me at all?”
Ben ran his fingers through his girlfriend’s hair. “You’ve got to forgive me sometime. How about we make that our New Year’s Resolution? Open and honest communication for the new year? No more secrets.”
“Shouldn’t that be a given with relationships?”
“It should be, but it’s not.”
Adrian nodded. “Okay. So, we’re starting completely fresh.”
“Yes.” Ben leaned in, nuzzling Adrian’s neck. “Sealed with a kiss?” He moved his mouth towards hers, but Adrian pressed a finger to it.
“Midnight.”
Ben pouted.
“That doesn’t mean you can’t continue doing that nuzzling thing you were just doing…”
“What are you doing out here? I thought you said you and Ben weren’t bringing Mercy over for another half hour?” She suddenly looked across Adrian into the passenger seat, then craned her neck to peer into the backseat since the top on Adrian’s convertible was down. “Wait, where areBen and Mercy?”
Adrian frowned. “Not here yet.”
Cindy placed her hands on her hips. “You were bringing her over in two separate cars?”
“Well…” Adrian swallowed thickly. “…I have to work. I told you that.”
“Yes,” Cindy agreed dubiously. “But you also said that today’s only a partial day because it’s Christmas Eve, so I see no reason to waste the gas coming here in two separate cars when you don’t have to.”
Adrian turned her head away. “Can we not do this, please? I didn’t even really want to come over. I agreed to Christmas Eve breakfast because you said you’d make your special White Christmas Horchata and Mercy loves your horchata.”
“Did you and Ben have a fight?” Cindy asked knowingly.
“No.”
Cindy touched her daughter’s shoulder. “Why don’t you come inside?” she asked softly. “That horchata’s almost done.”
“Mom…”
“Chica…please.”
Adrian bowed her head, allowing her resolve to disappear. She pushed out of her seat and shut the door, allowing her mother to wrap an arm around her shoulders and lead her into the apartment they had shared until just a couple months ago.
